Robert B. Tucker is president of The Innovation Resource (TIR), and an internationally recognized leader in the field of innovation. Formerly an adjunct professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, Tucker has been a consultant and keynote speaker since 1986.
His pioneering research in interviewing over 50 leading innovators was published in the book Winning the Innovation Gamein l986. Since then, he has continued to publish widely on the subject, including his international bestseller Managing the Future: 10 Driving Forces of Change for the New Century, which has been translated into 13 languages. In Driving Growth Through Innovation he identified the emerging best practices of 23 innovation vanguard companies. And in his latest work, Innovation Is Everybody’s Business, Tucker interviewed 43 innovation-adept individuals from multiple industries and all levels of organizations, and teaches the personal skills necessary to become an innovator in this hyper-competitive world.”
As one of the thought leaders in the growing Innovation Movement, Tucker is a frequent contributor to publications such as the Journal of Business Strategy, Strategy & Leadership, and Harvard Management Update. He has appeared on PBS, CBS News, and was a featured guest on the CNBC series The Business of Innovation.

is a senior consultant in the TIR network whose expertise is in product and strategy innovation. After building apparel maker Rocky Mountain Clothing Company into a $50 million business, Hattori co-founded InnovationNetwork, a global association of innovation practitioners. Ruth Ann has worked with dozens of organizations worldwide including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Otto Bock Healthcare, and Intrawest to produce breakthrough products and strategies. Hattori is co-author of the recent book, Innovation Training. |

Gerald Berstell, is a senior
consultant and researcher in the TIR Network. Berstell
is the originator of Customer Case Research, a groundbreaking
method for listening to customers and prospective customers
for breakthrough innovations. An alternative to surveys
or focus groups, CCR uncovers previously unknown, unarticulated
and unmet customer needs and purchase drivers by helping
organizations find what they didn’t even know they
should look for. A former McKinsey consultant, Berstell
holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and B.S. and
Master’s degrees in Architecture from M.I.T. His
25 years consulting experience include projects for Abbott
Laboratories, Blue Cross, BP Amoco, IBM, McGraw-Hill,

Bart Tucker, vice president
and senior consultant in the TIR Network, is a specialist
in process and product innovation, R&D roadmapping,
breakthrough innovation planning, and knowledge management.
Prior to his joining forces with TIR, Mr. Tucker was a
founding partner with Holmes-Tucker International, an
Arlington, Virginia based management consulting firm with
clients primarily in Europe. A graduate of the U.S. Air
Force Academy, Mr. Tucker holds a masters degree from
Purdue University in astronautical engineering. |
