Robert B. TuckerRobert B. Tucker is president of The Innovation Resource, and an internationally recognized leader in the field of innovation. Formerly an adjunct professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, Tucker has been a consultant and keynote speaker since 1986.

His pioneering research in interviewing over 50 leading innovators was published in the book Winning the Innovation Game in l986. Since then, he has continued to publish widely on the subject, including his international bestseller Managing the Future: 10 Driving Forces of Change for the New Century, which has been translated into 13 languages.  In his most recent book, Driving Growth Through Innovation describes the emerging best practices of 23 innovation vanguard companies, and will be released in a revised edition in 2008.

As one of the thought leaders in the growing Innovation Movement, Tucker is a frequent contributor to publications such as the Journal of Business Strategy, Strategy & Leadership, and Harvard Management Update. He has appeared on PBS, CBS News, and was a featured guest on the CNBC series The Business of Innovation.

The Innovation Resource, based in Santa Barbara, California, is a consulting firm devoted exclusively to assisting companies seeking to improve top and bottom line performance via systematic innovation.

Tucker is a much sought after keynote speaker at conventions, company management meetings, and industry conferences. Clients include over 200 of the Fortune 500 companies as well as clients in Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Australia.  

Robert Tucker resides in Santa Barbara, California with his wife, Carolyn McQuay, and daughter Cara Rose Tucker.

Ruth Ann Hattori Ruth Ann Hattori, is a senior consultant in the TIR network whose expertise is in product and strategy innovation. After building apparel maker Rocky Mountain Clothing Company into a $50 million business, Hattori co-founded InnovationNetwork, a global association of innovation practitioners. His professional focus is in the development and execution of growth and innovation strategies, including corporate wide innovation transformation programs. Friis is currently a Partner at the New York based Financial Services Practice at PA Consulting Group, a consulting firm with a unique commitment to innovation, responsiveness and delivery. Friis was previously Global Innovation Director for Citigroup International, leading a major strategic transformation program aimed at accelerating innovation and product development, speeding up time-to-market and boosting top-line growth. At Citigroup he also held a position as Vice President at the company's Strategy & Business Development team. He was also previously a consultant at Accenture. Friis holds an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, where he graduated as a Carter Fellow, and an MS and BS in Economics and Finance from the University of Copenhagen.

Gerald Berstell Gerald Berstell, is a senior consultant and researcher in the TIR Network. Berstell is the originator of Customer Case Research, a groundbreaking method for listening to customers and prospective customers for breakthrough innovations. An alternative to surveys or focus groups, CCR uncovers previously unknown, unarticulated and unmet customer needs and purchase drivers by helping organizations find what they didn’t even know they should look for. A former McKinsey consultant, Berstell holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and B.S. and Master’s degrees in Architecture from M.I.T. His 25 years consulting experience include projects for Abbott Laboratories, Blue Cross, BP Amoco, IBM, McGraw-Hill, Michelin, NBC, and Pfizer.

Cheryl Perkins Cheryl Perkins is a thought leader in innovation and a creative catalyst in brand-building initiatives that contribute to rewarding customer and consumer experiences and improved business performance.  She was identified as one of the Top 25 Champions of Innovation by Business Week magazine in June 2006, and named as a top executive driving vision within the consumer goods industry (Visionaries 2006) by Consumer Goods Technology magazine.  As President of Innovation Edge LLC, she is leading companies across many industries to build sustainable innovation capabilities and define sustainable growth opportunities.  Cheryl has over 23 years experience directing growth and innovation and most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, reporting to the CEO and Chairman of the Board. 

Bart Tucker Bart Tucker, vice president and senior consultant in the TIR Network, is a specialist in process and product innovation, R&D roadmapping, breakthrough innovation planning, and knowledge management. Prior to his joining forces with TIR, Mr. Tucker was a founding partner with Holmes-Tucker International, an Arlington, Virginia based management consulting firm with clients primarily in Europe. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Mr. Tucker holds a masters degree from Purdue University in astronautical engineering.
